A Note

Oh, sister.

I haven’t written in a good minute, but I am excited to let words flow from my pen once again. I’ve said it before, yet I’ll say it again: there are days and months in seasons that come and go, sometimes there’s books to write and sometimes silence is the most good for a soul.

I’ve been wrestling through what to write about for some days now,

And I still don’t know.

I could write about the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus,

Or about the strength and the courage of persecuted brothers and sisters,

Or about the brokenness in so many sweet teen girls,

Or about the man who found a treasure, and sold it all to buy a field.

These are but little things swirling around in this life of mine, and I want to write about them all.

I cannot wait to share with you, everything that’s been holding tight in my heart.

But for now, I’d like to say:

That I’m sitting, back in my little coffee shop, and I’m ready to write again.

And today, oh I pray that my sweet Jesus captivates your heart like the most warm, sun-shined breeze to graze across your beaming face today. May you be filled with His Spirit, a rich and precious, tangible gift for your soul. And may the Father bless you, oh sister, may He bless you abundantly, with a daring faith, ready at a moment’s notice to preach the Word boldly, and compassionately.

With much, much love.

  1. Oh dear sister, how we all know the seasons of wait, when we are obedient in the Lord we shall see of our reward! I silently lift many up in prayer and you are one as well. I got to witness waiting on the Lord and allow His works to come forth. It only took a week but His using others that we know but paths seldom pass happened this week in fixing my car which without costing everything we had in the bank or having to put in on a credit card to pay for it! What a story I shall share with the ladies at the jail we minister to bi-monthly. Our God DOES indeed know our needs and works it all out if we are just patient and obedient! So my sister keep following the whispers of the Holy Spirit and watch Jesus make things flow from your pen to paper in reaching that soul that needs to hear that one thing to keep on keeping on!
    Prayers for prayers,
    Robyn
